ice cream & vicodin

the only good thing about this jacked back situaish is that i’ve been rendered unable to work.
which if you know me, is nearly impossible, i don’t call off work unless i’m dying, and in this case i can’t stand up or walk.

i’ve been laying in my bed for 36 hours.

i’ve slept about 20 hours of the 36.
at least i look rested.

all i’ve done is eat stonybrook farms non fat frozen yogurt in chocolate mint w. choc chips & watched movies.
let’s see-

royal tenenbaums
-wes anderson’s soundtracks are always so effin’ good. “these days” by nico. totally forgot about that one.

broken flowers
-which by the way jim jarmusch & bill murray is pretty much a win win situaish.

rushmore
-i know i have a big bill murray obsession & a keen appreciation for all things wes anderson. but seriously. on the reals. i could watch this movie everyday like i could watch 16 candles. and the kinks song “nothing in this world can stop me worryin’ about this girl” playing at bill murray’s kid’s birthday party, while he’s watching his wife flirt in front of him & jumps off the diving board. pretty much one of my most favorite scenes ever. and “she’s my rushmore.” someday i’m going to be someone’s “rushrmore.” someday.

okay so then guess what happened!
my cable & internet went out.
while i’m a crippled gimp laid up in bed. thanks.
thanks a lot time warner.

so i watched:

kramer vs. kramer-1979
-i’ve had this as a netflix movie for at least 3 weeks, but have put off watching it cuz it makes me super emo about my pops.
i do love old new york movies though.

now if i can only survive the boredom.
tomorrow c.rons herself is insisting i go to see an accupuncturist & is footing the bill to have someone make me a human voo doo doll. i’m not afraid so much of needles as i am the fact there’s some massage involved. i’m not into massages. i don’t like people touching me. not even when i was raver on excstasy. let me be tense. don’t touch me.

maybe thats why my back is jacked in the first place.

wish me luck on my accupuncture.
smell you later.

Kate Moss to design for Topshop

Suzy Menkes International Herald Tribune

Published: September 20, 2006

LONDON Kate Moss, now the world’s most famous model, is moving into fashion. The British chain Topshop, which spearheaded the current fast-fashion craze, has signed Moss to create a clothing line that will debut in spring 2007.
Philip Green, the high profile owner of the Arcadia Group, which owns Topshop, announced the deal on Wednesday, saying: “Kate has a unique position as a true fashion icon.” He plans not only to carry the “Kate Moss for Topshop” label in his 308 stores, but to make it into a global brand. Green already has announced plans to open a flagship Topshop store in New York.
“I love what they stand for. It’s going to be fun,” said Moss, 32. “I have always been a big fan of Topshop and regularly shop there.” Moss is known for her cool put-together outfits, from cutoff denim shorts and boots at the Glastonbury Rock Festival to designer clothes from her friend, John Galliano of Dior.
Yet a year ago Moss was in disgrace after allegations of cocaine use and advertisers withdrew her lucrative advertising contracts. Ironically, it was H&M, Topshop’s arch rival, that ended a Moss campaign in response to pressure from parental groups concerned about the drugs-are-cool message that might be passed to impressionable teenagers.

wish you were here

“How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,
year after year,
running over the same old ground. What have we found?
The same old fears,
wish you were here. ” – pink floyd

kodak moments burned into my memories.
